Virtual Town Halls with ILA ACRL

From ILA ACRL President Liz Riordan:

We find ourselves in uncharted waters lately. Many of you are already working remotely because of COVID-19, and the rest of you (myself included) find ourselves waiting for news to come out that your library will be closing.

So now what? Where does that leave us as academic librarians?

ILA/ACRL wants to check in with all of you. We are having a virtual town hall, if you will, where folks can come and talk about what they are experiencing, discuss how their libraries are dealing with issues, and ask questions of their peers. If this pandemic has taught me anything, it's that reaching out to each other and leaning on each other (all virtually of course) is how we will weather this storm.

We will be meeting via Zoom Thursday March 19th, 26th, and April 2nd from 10am-11am.  Join us for one or all of them. This is a casual forum where you are encouraged to bring problems, solutions, or just stories to the group. We're hear to listen and offer any guidance we can.

Thank you everyone, and as I tell everyone these days:

Keep safe, keep kind, keep going.
